Break Benee
Official Challenge Rules
Organizer: Benee
Challenge Period: October 13 to October 18, 2026, ending at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
1. Who Can Participate?
The challenge is open to Canadian group benefits brokerages, MGAs, TPAs, and authorized group benefits professionals.
Participants must be of the age of majority and have permission to submit the carrier proposals they upload.
Participation is free. No purchase or credit card is required.
2. How to Enter
Create a free Benee account and upload one original carrier proposal during the challenge period.
We welcome proposals from any carrier, including:
- Multiple employee classes
- Multiple provinces
- Multiple coverage options
- Complex or unusual carrier formats
Each individual is permitted one challenge submission.
Multiple individuals from the same firm may participate, provided each uses their own account and submits their own carrier proposal.
Once a proposal has been successfully processed and accepted for evaluation, that individual’s challenge attempt is complete.
Each participating individual receives 10 free proposal credits after completing an eligible submission, regardless of the accuracy result.
3. How Accuracy Is Measured
Benee compares its generated coverage summary and premium output against the original carrier proposal, field by field.
Accuracy is calculated as:
Correct applicable fields ÷ Total applicable fields × 100
The review includes applicable coverage details, benefit amounts, rates, volumes, premiums, and employee class information.
Missing or incorrect applicable fields count as errors. Differences in formatting or wording do not count as errors when the underlying information is correct.
A materially incorrect total premium, benefit maximum, or missing employee class also counts as a challenge failure, regardless of the overall accuracy percentage.
Participants may receive a downloadable written breakdown within 48 business hours of a complete submission or request a live Zoom review with the Benee team.
4. How to Qualify for the Reward
Each individual has one opportunity to break Benee.
An eligible submission qualifies if:
- Overall accuracy is below 96%.
- A qualifying critical error is identified, regardless of the overall accuracy percentage.
If an individual’s submission meets either condition, their firm qualifies for the three month unlimited access reward.
Multiple individuals from the same firm may participate, but the firm receives one three month reward period.
5. The Rewards
Participation Reward
Each participating individual receives 10 free proposal credits after completing an eligible challenge submission.
These credits may be used for regular proposal generation and do not provide additional challenge attempts.
Challenge Reward
If an individual’s eligible submission breaks Benee, their firm receives three consecutive months of unlimited proposals and unlimited users on Benee’s Quote Engine and associated proposal workflows.
Multiple qualifying submissions from the same firm do not extend or stack the three month reward period.
Rewards are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
No paid subscription is required to redeem either reward. Continued paid access after the reward period requires the firm’s authorization.
6. Document Requirements
Submissions must be original carrier proposals.
Complex formatting, multiple classes, multiple provinces, and unusual document structures are encouraged.
Fabricated, deliberately corrupted, or intentionally manipulated documents are not eligible.
7. Privacy and Security
Participants must remove unnecessary personal or sensitive information before uploading and have the appropriate authority to submit their documents.
All submissions are handled in accordance with Benee’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.
Any use of submitted documents for product testing or improvement will follow the applicable privacy disclosures and permissions.
8. Challenge Integrity
Benee will apply the published scoring criteria consistently and honour every eligible qualifying result.
The scoring threshold and rules will not be changed after submission to disqualify an eligible entry.
Submissions received before the October 18 deadline remain eligible even if accuracy verification takes place after the challenge closes.
Participants may request a review of their results with the Benee team.
9. General Conditions
The challenge is governed by applicable Canadian laws.
Participation constitutes acceptance of these Official Challenge Rules and Benee’s applicable Privacy Policy.
Benee reserves the right to address fraudulent submissions or circumstances beyond its reasonable control without withholding rewards already earned under these rules.
